About Us
The Kiddie Cottage is a family child care based in the historic West Adams District (formerly known as sugar hill) located in Los Angeles, California. Together a mother-daughter collab created a home learning environment where children are free to express themselves, grow, and develop based on their own individual needs. Since we know that every child is a unique individual, we pride ourselves on providing a fun, creative, play enthused environment that enables both infant and children to freely express themselves. All while seeking adventure, fun experiences, and creating beautiful childhood memories.

Our Philosophy

Our program philosophy is play-based. We believe that children learn best through play and by creative expression. Free-play is encouraged as children are able to develop at their own pace; while producing meaningful learning. The providers are able to facilitate play and to help guide the children to understand new meanings of concepts. All play experiences are developed and based on the children’s interests.. We strive to ensure that each and every child can grow, play and learn as an individual. Our goal is to provide a strong start as children prepare to enter the world around them.
Our Mission
The Kiddie Cottage mission is to provide safe and affordable high quality service for working parents and students located in the greater Los Angeles area. In doing so, we support our families in their efforts to reach their goals.We are committed to all of the families we serve and pride ourselves on focusing on the individual needs of each child and family.
